Sweden's
NECROPHOBIC has been churning out old-school Satanic death metal since forming in 1989. Lineup changes, trends and fads haven't stopped these northern warriors from releasing album after album of blasphemous fury. Their new release, Hrimthursum, is no exception. Jeff Maki of Live-Metal.net had the privilege to interview guitarist Sebastian Ramstedt who gives us details behind the lyrics, the making of Hrimthursum and more.

  ENTER CELLADOR'S DECEPTION
Though power metal, with its complicated rhythms, harmonizing guitars, majestic melodies and tales of dragons and other lore, has been popular in Europe for more than 20 years, it remains in its infancy in the United States. Nebraska’s CELLADOR hopes to change that.   JOHN 5 LETS IT ALL BLEED OUT
Most hard rock and metal fans know about JOHN 5's associations with ROB HALFORD, DAVID LEE ROTH, MARILYN MANSON and, now, ROB ZOMBIE. BUCKCHERRY burst onto the scene in 1999 with the smash, “Lit Up,” but the band disintegrated just a few years later after only two albums. His other band, ASSJACK, which splits the bill with his country act when he’s on tour, nicely fits into the same genre.
