The Dead Daisies

The Dead Daisies have announced their return to Woodstock Poland featuring in a headline performance at a special “Concert for Freedom” with the Gorzow Philharmonic Orchestra on Aug. 3.

Founder and president of Woodstock Poland Jurek Owsiak said, “Woodstock 1969 became an incredible spark which inspired all freedom thinkers of the world to face their biggest challenge yet—striving to achieve freedom, independence, truth and try to build a true fraternity of people across the globe. For people in Poland, it became an inspiration to take a very important step on the road to regaining freedom and true independence. It was thanks to music, thanks to artists, who gave voice to our dreams which, 25 years ago, resulted in the creation of Polish solidarity and our Polish independence. Halestorm has announced details of its next North American headline tour. “Halestorm’s Halloween Scream” begins Sept. 22 at Denver, Colorado’s High Elevation Rock Festival and then travels through late October. Support throughout the trek will come from Starset and New Year’s Day. The tour will include stops at a number of upcoming festivals and state fairs, including Louisville, Kentucky’s Louder Than Life (Sept. 30), Madison, Wisconsin’s JJO Sonic Boom (Oct. 1), Camden, New Jersey’s Rock Allegiance (Oct. 7), Houston, Texas’s Houston Open Air (Oct. 14) and Sacramento, California’s 2017 Monster Energy Aftershock Festival (Oct. 22). Josh Todd & the Conflict

Josh Todd & the Conflict, featuring Buckcherry members Josh Todd (vocals) and Stevie D. (guitar), have unveiled thenew music video for the title track off their debut album, Year of the Tiger, due Sept. 15 on Century Media Records.

The clip, directed by theChris Cuffaro (Pearl Jam, George Michael), is the first of three videos shot as a mini-concert this past May in the band’s hometown of Los Angeles. The other two videos will be released over the next few months. See below to check out the new video and access the pre-order links for the new album. The band will be touring worldwide throughout 2017/2018. Citizen Zero

Detroit rock outfit Citizen Zero has announces a string of headline dates this July, with support from local bands. The tour will run from July 23 to 27, making stops throughout the Northeast. Bay Area thrash pioneers Exodus announced their co-headlining Battle Of The Bays American Tour with Tampa Bay Florida Death Metal Godfathers Obituary. The tour kicks off on September 14 in Durham, NC making stops in Sayreville, Columbus, and San Antonio before ending in Baton Rouge, LA on October 15.. THE SUMMER SLAUGHTER TOUR, presented by the upcoming film American Satan, is pleased to announce the full lineup of bands and dates for this summer’s particularly heavy edition of the long running tour now in its 11th year. Headlining the most extreme tour of the summer is Michigan’s very own melodic death metal monsters The Black Dahlia Murder who will release their new untitled album in fall 2017 via Metal Blade Records and will be playing their album Nocturnal in its entirety in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the release. Joining TBDM as co-headliners is Maryland death metal trio Dying Fetus whose new album Wrong One to Fuck With comes out on June 23 via Relapse Records. Behemoth’s full live set from Germany’s 2017 Rock Hard Festival has been posted online. Check it out inside! The Rock Hard Festival is a heavy metal festival organized and sponsored by the Rock Hard magazine. First established in Lichtenfels, Bavaria, Germany, in 1990 on an irregular basis, mostly for magazine anniversaries, it is held annually in Gelsenkirchen, Germany since 2003. The 2017 edition took place on May 18-20 and featured performances by Opeth, Behemoth, Exodus, Dirkschneider, Fates Warning, Candlemass and more. (more…)

The music lineup has been announced for Monster Energy Aftershock—California’s biggest rock festival—Saturday, Oct. 21, and Sunday, Oct. 22, at Discovery Park, near downtown Sacramento, California.

Nine Inch Nails, Ozzy Osbourne featuring Zakk Wylde, A Perfect Circle, Five Finger Death Punch, Run the Jewels, Stone Sour, Marilyn Manson and Mastodon top a bill of more than 35 artists performing on three stages. Tickets go on sale at noon PT Friday, June 9 (see below for details).

Maynard James Keenan said, “I’m delighted to be completing my musical trifecta by returning to the Aftershock festival with A Perfect Circle. Join us for a celebratory glass or three at the Caduceus Cellars & Merkin Vineyards Wine Garden all weekend long.”
