ASK4 Entertainment–the creator and producer of ShipRocked–has announced the firstMetal Maya, a four-day all-inclusive heavy metal destination festival vacation from Oct. 29 through Nov. 2 at the Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun, just south of Cancun in the paradise of Puerto Morelos on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula.

Metal Maya is the perfect place to celebrate Halloween and Dia de los Muertos (also known as Day of the Dead and “Hanal Pixán” to the Mayans of Yucatan Peninsula) and will feature performances from a dozen bands in a tropical paradise. The initial music lineup includes Anthrax, Overkill, Superjoint (with Philip Anselmo), heavy metal all-star band Metal Allegiance,  Death Angel, Otep and Tim “Ripper” Owens, with more to be announced. The Metal Allegiance band will include Phil Demmel (Machine Head), David Ellefson (Megadeth),Gary Holt (Slayer/Exodus), Mark Menghi, Mark Osegueda (Death Angel), Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, Transatlantic, Flying Colors, The Neal Morse Band), Steve “Zetro” Souza (Exodus), Ryan Waste (Municipal Waste) and more special guests. David Gunn of KING 810

Flint, Michigan’s KING 810 hase announced details of a new series of limited engagement live events for their album, La Petite Mort or a Conversation with God, which will see the band offering a boundary-pushing live experience in intimate settings.  The tour is slated to kick off June 9 at Columbus, Ohiuo’s Park Street and will see KING 810 joined by special guest Gost on select dates.

Fans are in store for a unique performance each night, with KING 810 engaging audiences in its intensely personal and often contentious world.  Each evening, the band will be joined by a special guest performer, with each venue evoking the dark themes of La Petite Mort or a Conversation with GodTickets for all dates will go on sale at 10 a.m. local time Friday, April 14. The Dead Daisies have announced 12 North American shows in August as part of their Live & Louder World Tour, in support of their upcoming live album, Live and Louder, scheduled for a May 19 release on Spitfire Music/SPV/eOne. Heralded “The Dirty Dozen Tour,” the trek is set to kick off Aug. 10 in Chicago, Illinois, and will wrap Aug. 27 Las Vegas, Nevada.

“The Dirty Dozen Tour” is inspired by the classic 1960s movie of the same name. It will be the band’s first North American headline tour.

“We’re all very excited for our very first North American headline run,” said vocalist John Corabi. “We’re kicking it all off on Aug. 10 in Chicago and ending it in ‘Sin City’ Las Vegas! Superjoint

Superjoint will take on part two of its Caught up in the Gears of Application U.S. live takeover later this month. The tour will make its way west from San Antonio, Texas, in mid-April through mid-May, with additional dates to be announced in the coming weeks. Support will be provided by Motor City thrashers Battlecross and noise rock eccentrics/Housecore labelmates Child Bite, also of Detroit, who both trekked out with the band during the first leg of the tour in January. Superjoint recently played the For the Sick Benefit, a three-day festival-style event organized for Eyehategod frontman Mike IX Williams, who underwent a liver transplant last December. Doll Skin will release its sophomore LP, Manic Pixie Dream Girl, on June 16 via EMP Label Group/Amped and in Europe via EMP/SPV.

Produced and mixed by Cage9 frontman Evan Rodaniche (Lacey Sturm, Powerman 5000), Manic is the follow up to Doll Skin’s EMP debut, 2016’s In Your Face (Again), produced by Megadeth bassist David Ellefson. 2016 saw the band on tour Otep, Lacey Sturm, Fire from the Gods, Hellyeah, Dead Kennedys, Escape The Fate, September Mourning, Through Fire and more, capping off the year with a spot on Alternative Press’s list of “7 of the Best Rising Bands Under 21,” before settling in to record the new record. Parlophone Records will follow 2014’s reissue of the first eight Iron Maiden albums, which spanned the 1980s, with twelve brand new pressings of albums from the period 1990-2015 in heavyweight 180g black vinyl.

Unlike the 1980’s reissues which were cut from the original analogue master tapes, the audio on these releases has been cut from the high resolution remasters of 2015 when the Maiden catalogue was digitally upgraded. The entire lineup for 2017’s Vans Warped Tour, presented by Journeys, was revealed yesterday via a live webcast from Full Sail Live, the state-of-the-art performance venue on the campus of Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. The lineup includes current favorites, promising up-and-comers and a deep list of legacy acts spanning the tour’s 23 -year history. Blessthefall, Memphis May Fire, Jule Vera, Stacked Like Pancakes and Microwave attended the live stream and performed during the webcast.

Now in it’s 23rd year, the Vans Warped Tour continues to solidify itself as the must attend festival over summer for rock and music lovers alike.

In the tradition of celebrating the tour’s musical roots, the lineup includes bands such as CKY, Sick Of It All, Municial Waste, The Adolescents, Strung Out, T.S.O.L, Anti-Flag and Hatebreed, which are legends in the punk, hardcore and metalcore worlds.

Corey Taylor of Stone Sour

Stone Sour will return to the live stage Thursday, May 18, at the Rock on the Range official festival kickoff party at Express Live in Columbus, Ohio.

An exclusive presale for Rock on the Range ticket purchasers is underway now. Tickets go on sale to the general public at noon EST Friday, March 10, at www.RockOnTheRange.com and via Ticketmaster. To celebrate the 11th annual ROTR, tickets will be available for $11 plus service fees.
