In This Moment have announced the release of their eagerly anticipated new album. Ritual arrives everywhere on Friday, July 21. In This Moment’s sixth studio album, Ritual, will be released by Atlantic Records in partnership with Roadrunner Records and is available for pre-order now.

All pre-orders will be joined by an instant grat download of the album’s first single, “Oh Lord,” with additional instant grat downloads becoming available in the weeks leading up to the album’s release. Exclusive pre-order bundles, which include custom In This Moment branded rosary beads, are available now at the band’s webstore.

Fozzy

Fozzy has unleashed “Judas,” the first single from its forthcoming seventh studio record. In addition, the song will serve as the official theme for the WWE event NXT Takeover: Chicago on May 20.

Fozzy frontman and WWE Legend Chris Jericho offered his take on the “Judas” music video, saying, “For such a dark and sexy song like ‘Judas’, we wanted a dark and sexy video to match … and we got that and more! In one take, we filmed a unique, visually stunning masterpiece that combines an incredible song, psycho clowns, hot chicks, a man on fire and a great rock ‘n’ roll band, all in one tasty video morsel. Zakk Sabbath, the Black Sabbath all-star cover band featuring guitarist/vocalist Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne), bassist Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie) and drummer Joey Castillo (Danzig, Queens of the Stone Age, Bl’ast!), will release the limited edition Live in Detroit LP on June 16 via Southern Lord Recordings.

Preorders for Live in Detroit are available now via Southern Lord at this location.

The three tracks comprising Live in Detroit were captured at the band’s performance on Oct. 26, 2016, at tThe Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan. Southern Lord will release Live in Detroit as a one time, vinyl-only pressing in multiple color variants. Additionally, the band will have the Live in Detroit LP available for purchase throughout its upcoming tour (see dates below).

Swedish metal goddess Liv Sin has released the video for “Immortal Sin” (f / Jyrki 69 from 69 Eyes) from her debut solo album Follow Me. The video can be seen inside. The classic Fight cover comes off of Liv’s recently released and hotly tipped debut solo album, Follow Me, which was produced by the duo of Stefan Kaufmann and Fitty Weinhold, who brought out more intense metal in me than I ever could imagine” Liv says. “These guys have been in the business and in this music for so long, so their experience really brought out the essence of our songs, for the better.” Watch it inside! Superjoint

Superjoint will take on part two of its Caught up in the Gears of Application U.S. live takeover later this month. The tour will make its way west from San Antonio, Texas, in mid-April through mid-May, with additional dates to be announced in the coming weeks. Support will be provided by Motor City thrashers Battlecross and noise rock eccentrics/Housecore labelmates Child Bite, also of Detroit, who both trekked out with the band during the first leg of the tour in January. Superjoint recently played the For the Sick Benefit, a three-day festival-style event organized for Eyehategod frontman Mike IX Williams, who underwent a liver transplant last December. With less than one week until the release of its sixth album, Bloodlust (March 31, 2017) Body Count (featuring famed-rapper and TV star Ice-T) has dropped a video for what is sure to be another controversial track, “Black Hoodie.” The video is a depiction of the February 2012 shooting of Trayvon Martin, in which Ice tells the story from a young, black teen’s perspective. Martin was dressed in a black hoodie when killed by George Zimmerman, causing a massive protest. Watch the video inside and check out some quotes from our recent interview with guitarist Ernie C. Wednesday 13 has revealed the video for “What the Night Brings,” the first track taken from his forthcoming album, Condolences. The album will be released June 2 on his new record label home—Nuclear Blast Entertainment.

The track is now available at iTunes, Amazon and all good DSPs. Fans can pre-order Condolences in an array of digital and physical formats, including a few limited-run, colored vinyl versions, here.

“I’m really excited to unveil the new video for ‘What the Night Brings,’ the first track from our upcoming album, Condolences,” Wednesday 13 said“It kicks off our new album and really sets the tone for the rest of it. We worked on the video with director Matt Zane (Society One), and he really helped bring a spooky vibe. The song reminds me of a heavy metal version of ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ theme.” (more…)

After returning from a triumphant run throughout South America and right before embarking on some shows with labelmates Arch Enemy and The Haunted, Lacuna Coil has released a new video for one of its crowd favorites, “Blood, Tears, Dust.” The video was directed and edited by Cosimo Alemà, and produced by the production company Borotalco.

“Right now I can’t tell you everything about ‘Blood, Tears, Dust,’ as this video is part of something bigger,” said vocalist Cristina Scabbia. “This is the core of who we are as a band: the sweat, the dirt, the raw energy. It’s our insanity and all of us feeling comfortable with it. I love how by Cosimo Alemà filmed this. The photography, the colors and the hints in the story are perfectly placed, and it is the first time we are really ‘acting.’ This video is only a part of a much bigger plan. .. Stay tuned.
