Legendary New Jersey thrashers, Overkill, will unleash their upcoming 18th studio album, The Grinding Wheel, on February 10th, 2017 via Nuclear Blast. To date, the band has revealed a series of album trailers for the album discussing the artwork, lyrics, musical direction and much more. Today, the band revealed their fifth trailer in which vocalist Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth talks about his heavy metal charity organization “Rock Against Dystrophy.”

The Grinding Wheel was produced by the band and mixed by Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Accept, Exodus). The artwork was created again by Travis Smith (Nevermore, Opeth, Soilwork, Death).

Overkill announced their 2017 North American trek with Egyptian themed technical death metal champions and labelmates Nile. The 25-date tour will kick-off on February 14th at The Trocadero in Philadelphia, make stops in Chicago, Anaheim, and Washington, DC before ending at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ.

Nile is touring in support of their latest release What Should Not Be Unearthed. Watch the official lyric video for “Evil To Cast Out Evil” on the Nuclear Blast Youtube Channel.

Joining Overkill and Nile for select shows are melancholic progressive metallers Amorphis and melodic doom/death merchants Swallow the Sun.
