There’s been turmoil in the Chimaira camp since we last heard from the Cleveland band. Drummer Andols Herrick, bassist Jim LaMarca and keyboardist Chris Spicuzza are out; bassist Emil Werstler and keyboardist Sean Zatorsky, both from Daath, and drummer Austin D’Amond are in. The songwriting core of frontman Mark Hunter and lead guitarist Rob Arnold remains intact, though, and the two of them recorded The Age of Hell, the band’s sixth studio album, with rhythm guitarist Matt DeVries and producer Ben Schigel on drums.
