The Dead Daisies have announced 12 North American shows in August as part of their Live & Louder World Tour, in support of their upcoming live album, Live and Louder, scheduled for a May 19 release on Spitfire Music/SPV/eOne. Heralded “The Dirty Dozen Tour,” the trek is set to kick off Aug. 10 in Chicago, Illinois, and will wrap Aug. 27 Las Vegas, Nevada.

“The Dirty Dozen Tour” is inspired by the classic 1960s movie of the same name. It will be the band’s first North American headline tour.

“We’re all very excited for our very first North American headline run,” said vocalist John Corabi. “We’re kicking it all off on Aug. 10 in Chicago and ending it in ‘Sin City’ Las Vegas! You guys have been amazing with all of your support and requests for shows here, so we’re giving it to you ‘LIVE AND LOUDER’ and ‘down and dirty’ on ‘The Dirty Dozen Tour 2017!'” See ya on the road kids!” (more…)

“Live & Louder,” The Dead Daisies’ new live outing, is set for release on May 19 on Spitfire Music/SPV.

The next single, “Song and a Prayer,” was released with an accompanying short film and rang in the final touring phase of the year, which saw the band go to Japan for the first time, where it immediately became media and fan darlings, and went down a storm at the world-famous Loud Park festival. A string of dates in Korea for the USO followed and, as the year’s grand finale, a massive U.K. and European co-headline tour that played 30-plus shows to sold-out venues. (more…)

The three of them, along with drummer Rich Monica, comprise Cycle of Pain and their self-titled debut album hits stores April 21. On the same day, Cycle of Pain joins the Black Label Bash, the spring tour featuring Black Label Society, Sevendust, Dope and others. J.D. recently checked in with Live Metal’s Greg Maki to discuss his new band, the tour, BLS and more. (more…)
