The lineup of festival experiences, as well as Eat Local! and national food court offerings have been announced for the 11th annual Rock on tThe Range, America’s premier rock festival, May 19, 20 and 21 at Mapfre Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.

The unprecedented Rock on the Range music lineup includes rock legends Metallica, Soundgarden and Korn each headlining one night, along with performances from The Offspring, Volbeat, Primus, Bush, Live, Chevelle, Papa Roach, Seether, Coheed and Cambria, Alter Bridge, The Pretty Reckless, Taking Back Sunday, Of Mice & Men and many more. The ROTR Rolling Rock Comedy Tent will feature sets from nationally known comedians such as Jim Breuer, Nikki Glaser, Tony Hinchcliffe and more, plus Columbus’ top comedy talent. (more…)

The lineup of festival experiences, as well as details for the Pig Out Village, featuring some of the best food the Carolinas have to offer, have been announced for the seventh annual Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion, May 5, 6 and 7, at Rock City Campgrounds at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina.

The festival will feature three days of today’s best rock–along with legendary classic artists–playing on four stages, a world-class BBQ village and topnotch camping facilities. Soundgarden (Friday), Def Leppard (Saturday) and Avenged Sevenfold (Sunday) will headline a bill that also includes A Perfect Circle, Korn, The Offspring, The Cult, Volbeat, Mastodon, Papa Roach, Three Days Grace, Seether, Chevelle, Alter Bridge, Tesla, Pierce the Veil, The Pretty Reckless, Eagles of Death Metal, Highly Suspect and the recently added Of Mice & Men. The single day band lineups have been announced for the 11th year of Rocklahoma, presented by Bud Light, May 26, 27 and 28, 2017, at “Catch the Fever” Festival Grounds in Pryor, Oklahoma, just outside Tulsa. Single day tickets will go on sale at noon CDT Monday, March 27, at www.Rocklahoma.com, and weekend ticket prices will increase at that time.

Soundgarden, Def Leppard and The Offspring lead the music lineup for the festival, which features the best current rock artists and classic bands on three stages, as well as a campground stage to keep the music going all night long. In 2016, Rocklahoma had its biggest year ever, with over 70,000 fans attending the festival’s 10th year.

Stone Sour will return to the live stage Thursday, May 18, at the Rock on the Range official festival kickoff party at Express Live in Columbus, Ohio.

An exclusive presale for Rock on the Range ticket purchasers is underway now. Tickets go on sale to the general public at noon EST Friday, March 10, at www.RockOnTheRange.com and via Ticketmaster. To celebrate the 11th annual ROTR, tickets will be available for $11 plus service fees.

The exclusive set will mark Stone Sour’s first show in support of Hydrograd, the new album coming this summer. Hydrograd, which the band just completed work on, will be the band’s first studio album since the House of Gold & Bones double album set in 2013.  (more…)

The single day band lineups have been announced for the third annual Northern Invasion—Saturday, May 13, and Sunday, May 14 at Somerset Amphitheater in Somerset, Wisconsin—and single-day tickets go on sale next Monday, Feb. 13.

Soundgarden and Kid Rock will headline Northern Invasion 2017, which hosts the biggest rock bands for more than 12 hours each day on three stages and offers a top-tier campground experience.

The second annual Chicago Open Air festival will bring together an all-star lineup of rock’s top artists on Friday, July 14, Saturday, July 15, and Sunday, July 16, at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Illinois, just outside Chicago. The three-day music, craft beer and Gourmet Man Food festival will feature more than 40 performances, including Ozzy Osbourne, KISS, and Korn, along with Rob Zombie, Slayer, Godsmack, Stone Sour, Megadeth, Lamb Of God, Seether, Meshuggah, Anthrax, Clutch, Body Count and many more.

Tickets for the 11th annual Rock on the Range have sold out in record time, just over one month after going on sale. This marks the fifth consecutive advance sell-out for Rock on the Range, which will be held May 19, 20 and 21 at Mapfre Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.

Metallica, Soundgarden and Korn each will headline one night of the festival.

In addition, Live, featuring the group’s original lineup of Ed Kowalczyk (vocals, guitar), Chad Taylor (guitar, backing vocals), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass) and Chad Gracey (drums, percussion), has just been added to the festival lineup, along with Of Mice & Men. (more…)

Rock on the Range has been promising its “biggest lineup ever,” and this morning’s announcement seems to live up to that.

Metallica, Soundgarden and Korn each will headline one night of the three-day festival, which is set for May 19, 20 and 21 at Mapfre Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. Overall, Rock on the Range will feature more than 50 bands on three stages, plus comedians in the ROTR Rolling Rock Comedy Tent, the Music Experience, art installations and other activities.
