Doll Skin will release its sophomore LP, Manic Pixie Dream Girl, on June 16 via EMP Label Group/Amped and in Europe via EMP/SPV.

Produced and mixed by Cage9 frontman Evan Rodaniche (Lacey Sturm, Powerman 5000), Manic is the follow up to Doll Skin’s EMP debut, 2016’s In Your Face (Again), produced by Megadeth bassist David Ellefson. 2016 saw the band on tour Otep, Lacey Sturm, Fire from the Gods, Hellyeah, Dead Kennedys, Escape The Fate, September Mourning, Through Fire and more, capping off the year with a spot on Alternative Press’s list of “7 of the Best Rising Bands Under 21,” before settling in to record the new record. In just two years, Doll Skin has gone from playing its first show at a high school talent show to being managed and produced by Megadeth’s David Ellefson, having an EP distributed by legendary Megaforce Records and touring the United States with high-profile supporting gigs and as a headliner. Did we mention its four members–vocalist/guitarist Sydney Dolezal, guitarist Alex Snowden, bassist Nicole Rich and drummer Meghan Shea Herring–are all teenage girls? Yeah, and these girls know how to rock. As they cross the country on the “Generation Doom” tour–also featuring headliner Otep, along with Lacey Sturm, September Mourning and Through Fire–Doll Skin has released In Your Face (Again), an expanded edition of the EP originally issued in October 2015 and already has material prepared for a full-length album to be recorded later this year. Doll Skin

Doll Skin has premiered its new video, “Let’s Be Honest,” from its upcoming release, In Your Face (Again), produced by Megadeth’s David Ellefson and available on April 15 via EMP Label Group.

The band, which recently played Shiprocked 2016, as well as dates with Hellyeah and the Dead Kennedys, is in the middle of a headlining run before hitting the road with Otep, Lacey Sturm, September Mourning and Through Fire. After the Otep tour, the band will play more dates with Hellyeah, Escape the Fate and Sunflower Dead. (more…)


September Mourning has signed with Sumerian Records, released a new video and is preparing to hit the road in the United States this April and May on the “Generation Doom” tour, along with Otep, Lacey Sturm, Through Fire and Doll Skin.
