Hellyeah will headline the We’re All in This Together Tour 2016, also featuring Escape the Fate, New Years Day and From Ashes to New. The 18-date tour across the United States will kick off May 2 in Baltimore, Maryland, and end June 5 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The tour will offer fans free music and exclusive content, alongside traditional ticket sales. With each ticket purchased, fans will receive a code redeemable for a free tour sampler on iTunes. The sampler will include recent hits and unreleased music from each artist on the tour.

Hellyeah also has debuted a lyric video for “Human,” the first song to be released from its fifth album, due later this year. (more…)

The Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival will kick off year five on Aug. 15 in Detroit with a lineup that includes multiplatinum main stage bands Godsmack and Seether,along with Skillet, Buckcherry, Pop Evil, Escape the Fate, Redlight King, 3 Years Hollow, Within Reason, New Medicine, Sons of Revelry (2013 Uproar Battle of the Bands winner), SuicideGirls burlesque show, These Raven Skies and Tattered.

Initial tour dates are listed below, and additional tour dates for the Aug. 15 to Sept. 21 trek will be announced soon. (more…)

NEW YORK — Swedish metal band Avatar has debuted a second track, “Bloody Angel,” from its forthcoming album, Hail the Apocalypse.

“‘Bloody Angel’ is about shame and guilt,” said frontman Johannes Eckerström “You look around and watch all the suffering, and while you search for someone or something to blame, you end up in front of a mirror. Everything you touch, you break. Everyone you try to save you hurt and push further away.” (more…)

My second Warped Tour experience left me no less amazed than my first. Seventy-five bands performed on seven stages. Each seemed to bring with it a devoted fan following, even the many I had never heard of before. Most of the bands on the tour fall into the punk category—or some offshoot of it—but there are always exceptions, ensuring a diverse group of music-lovers, young and old (but mostly young), in attendance.
