Pennsylvania rockers Crobot today (Sept. 23, 2016) released their sophomore album, Welcome to Fat City, via Wind-up Records. The album, which premiered over on Billboard, sees the band create a set of songs that fit well into the metal pantheon, while also establishing its own style that’s fun and funky.

Crobot recorded Welcome to Fat City with producer Machine (Clutch, Lamb of God, Every Time I Die) and engineer Alan Moulder (Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, Them Crooked Vultures, Led Zeppelin).

Filter has announced the dates of its “Make America Hate Again” U.S. tour. The trek will kick off April 13 and run through May 21, with stops at festivals Welcome to Rockville in Jacksonville, Florida, and Carolina Rebellion in Concord, North Carolina, included. Support on most dates will come from Orgy, Vampires Everywhere and Death Valley High.

The tour is in support of Filter’s upcoming album, Crazy Eyes, set for release April 8 via Wind-up Records. The album’s first single, “Take Me to Heaven,” is streaming online now. (more…)

Filter has set an April 8 release date for its seventh album, Crazy Eyes, via Wind-Up Records.

“Filter is the mind,” said Richard Patrick, the band’s founder, singer, guitarist and producer. “It’s your interpretation or my interpretation. Our thing is to look at people’s unexplainable behavior and assess it, using sound. It’s a way to approximate the insanity of the human condition. The reason this record is so fucking heavy and strange is it’s exactly the opposite of what’s popular. It’s not pretty. It’s not cute. It’s real.” (more…)

Wind-up Records and TKO have announced the 2015 SnoCore Tour will feature headliner Flyleaf, with Adelitas Way confirmed as direct support.  Framing Hanley and Fit for Rivals will open the show.
