NEW NOISE

The place for new and unsigned bands.

New Noise is Live-Metal.net's place for new and unsigned bands. In the past two years, New Noise has introduced fans to unknown talents such as THE MOTHERFUCK'N SAINTS, YDIN and MISMO, and some of which later landed record deals (ECHOES OF ETERNITY, THE DESTRO). By no means do we think we are directly responsible, but in other words, we could help. If you would like to possibly have your band featured in New Noise, send us demos (address here) or email us directly for consideration. Check this page often, as many new bands and updates are expected in 2008!

LATEST BAND ADDITIONS:

STEVE CONE - rock/metal
LISTEN

Our latest New Noise act is STEVE CONE, whose new album In My Bones is as much a compliment to classic metal acts like ACCEPT and JUDAS PRIEST as it is to the modern era of metal. With a do-it-yourself mentality, Cone has taken almost every aspect of his career into his own hands, from playing, writing, recording, promotion and all the other aspects that are involved. Heavy metal is his passion and it's a sure bet that he's having the time of his life doing this. Check out the feature for complete info on STEVE CONE, the new album, pictures, links and an interview with the man himself.

THE SYSTEM AFTER - modern rock/metal
LISTEN

THE SYSTEM AFTER is our first New Noise band of 2008, a feature you should see a lot more of this year on Live-Metal.net. The band is a quintet based out of Peoria, IL, playing a blend of modern rock and metal along the lines of bands like DISTURBED, MUDVAYNE and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE. Live-Metal.net recently chatted with guitarist Dave Zumbek, finding out some history of the band, info on their new release Thrill or Be Killed and, most importantly, where you can buy this phenomenal album. EXEMPTION - stoner/metal
LISTEN

A band to definitely look out for is Long Island's EXEMPTION, a trio whose members are 18 and younger that plays a phenomenal mix of heavy metal, stoner rock and blues. This is for fans of CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, PANTERA and DOWN. And that's just the beginning.

CONCRETE RITUAL
LISTEN

CONCRETE RITUAL's hydra of styles and taste is built on the foundations of early hard rock anthems of the ’70s, the atmospheric progressive sounds of the ’80s and the heavy crunch attitude of the ’90s. Fueled by hypnotic, crowd-moving rhythms, coupled by down and bluesy riffs and soulful, melodic vocals, CONCRETE RITUAL is a welcomed return to rock, done with an original, fresh grandeur. It is this band’s drive to create intensely memorable songs that erase all comparisons and present the listener with the formation of a new musical standard, CONCRETE RITUAL. Click below and check out a review of their self-titled album and read an interview with lead vocalist, Gabriel McGahee.
